It's stressful enough having plumbing issues without having to worry about the people you get in to fix the problem. My aim is to give clear and honest assessments of the problems I'm presented with and I will always look at giving customers the best options for moving forward.
MY STORY
After a long career in the Graphic Design industry, I retrained between 2006-2008 as a plumber.
Once I'd qualified with City&Guilds and NVQ2 qualifications I started trading as NJM Plumbing in the summer of 2008. Based at the time in South East London, I built up a client list, mainly from word of mouth and some initial marketing. I would say, in the Ten years I've been trading, 90% of my work has come through recommendations and word of mouth.
My priority is to always do the best job I can, which means doing things the correct way
and never cutting corners. The quality of my work is extremely important to me as well as the trust
of my clients. I have recently moved to the Tunbridge Wells area and look to build up my local work
as well as trying to maintain my existing customers.

"Neil did a beautiful job installing a complete new bathroom at our daughter's house. An old Victorian terrace house with walls that were not square. A lot of tricky work, requiring patience and a good attitude to the job. We were happy to let him have a key to the property and trusted him to work in the empty house and safely lock up at the end of each day.
When we were there he continued to work steadily, with an eye to detail. The finished bathroom looks excellent and has made a huge difference to the property. We feel able to praise his work and recommend him to others.

You have a high standard of work ethic and this is reflected in your work. Throughout the bathroom renovation, which was carried out in a bathroom
that still had to be used, the goalposts were moved several times and you responded positively.
Your input and suggestions were most helpful
and the end result was better than we envisaged.
We tested your all round skills that included:- plumbing (of course), tiling, carpentry, demolition, plastering and even had you on the roof caping the waste ventilation pipe. At the end of each day the
area was left in a tidy condition enabling us to continue to use the facilities.

We needed a new bathroom and employed Neil
from NJM plumbing. My wife and I are extremely impressed with his care and attention to detail.
Neil listened to our requirements and took the time
to show us what was available. His patience and knowledge was commendable, especially as I was particularly fussy on the type of taps I wanted.
We now have a bathroom that surpasses our original expectations. Not only are the fixtures and fittings
of a high standard, but the tiling is truly exceptional.
I cannot praise him highly enough. As it mentions
on his website; it was as though he was working
on his own home. I am so pleased I asked him to
work on mine!
We have had the bathroom now for three months.
It still puts a smile on our faces when we go in the room.

We had just brought a new flat and needed a lot
of work doing, a complete refit of the bathroom, including tiling the floor and walls, refit of the kitchen also including tiling the floor and some parts of the walls. We had a couple of people in to give us estimates, but from the beginning Neil gave us the best impression by taking more of an interest in achieving a good final result and offering advice
about our options that we would not have thought
of otherwise.
Also having one person to carry out the plumbing work as well as the tiling simplified things significantly for us and the price was similar
to other estimates.
Neil was able to overcome some additional complications caused by the age and poor past maintenance of the property without having to increase the cost too much and in the end we were very happy with the final result. We would have no hesitation using his services again in the future or recommending him to others.
